Necklace made with little flower-ish thingies, that aren't really too flower-ish at all. The big ones are made with rhyolite, black pyrite, and nephritic jade; medium sized ones are moss agate and labradorite; small ones are nephritic jade and black pyrite.

Chainmail segments are... more adventures in byzantine! Gasp! This time, I extended the ends out so they're box chain-ish. Worked in 4mm rings.

The pendant is an antique (ca. 1950, signed Miracle). It features a Viking Age-esque gripping beast motif, surrounded by kelly and olive green enamelling, and faux agate.

Saga is the Norse goddess of history, and poetic arts; she is sometimes taken as another aspect of Frigga, the wife of Odhinn. Saga is mentioned in Grimnismal 7 as having a great halls in Asgard, called Sokkvabekkr ("Sunken Benches"), where "cold waves ripple above; there Odhinn and Saga drink through all days, glad, out of golden cups."
